After 30 years in our Wilmington location, we were finally forced to move out. We grew up there. Out staff grew up there. Many met their husband or wife there. While it was difficult to pack up and move out, we have taken all of our service equipment, all of our knowledge, all of our ski equipment, and all of our key staff to our Salem location just 15 minutes north on Rt. 93. What does that mean to you?
It means that the same great service you got from Calvin or Adam, the ones that fit your kids from the time they were 3 until they moved out to go to college, are here in Salem, NH. If you shopped our Salem store for years and Stu or Steveo helped you find that perfect pair of boots, or your favorite board ever, you can still have them help you too. Driving the 15 minutes more will get you the best trained, most seasoned staff in New England AND save the 6.25% sales tax. We are still looking for another location but only one that won't make us have to spread out our staff too thin or raise our prices. Ski Haus is synonymous with value. We have grown from a small selection of equipment in the bread isle of a country store to where we are now. When we first got going, we concentrated on price only. Over the years we have evolved into the best boot fitting shop in the area. We have grown out of the bread isle into our new store in Salem, NH. We still give you the best prices in the area, but we also give you the best service and selection as well. Maybe that's why the readers of Ski Magazine as well as the Manufacturers we stock have voted us the best ski shop in New England. We can now offer you even better service with the best staff in the area.
